Grenke Lease Disputes

Want Out of a Grenke Lease? Commercial Equipment Finance Disputes

Still paying Grenke for equipment you no longer want, cannot use, or believe was mis-sold?

Perhaps the equipment has failed. The supplier has disappeared. You were told something different about the agreement. Or you have asked to cancel and discovered that getting out is far more difficult — and expensive — than you expected.

Meridian Legal Services reviews commercial equipment finance and hire agreements and the circumstances in which they were sold.

If you want to exit your Grenke agreement, send us the finance agreement, supplier paperwork and any settlement figure or recovery correspondence you have received, or fill out the call back from on this page.

Why can Grenke agreements become difficult?

Grenke provides equipment finance across a very wide range of business equipment, including:

  • Photocopiers and printers
  • Telephone systems
  • EPOS and till systems
  • Coffee and vending machines
  • Commercial catering equipment
  • Gym equipment
  • Medical and beauty equipment
  • IT and security equipment

The equipment is often introduced by a separate supplier or reseller.

Grenke's own explanation of its supplier-finance model is straightforward: the supplier submits the finance proposal, Grenke purchases the equipment and then hires or leases it to the business.

That distinction becomes extremely important when something goes wrong.

You may have bought the equipment from one company — but your continuing payment obligation is to another.

Want to get out of a Grenke lease?

Do not start with the assumption that simply stopping the Direct Debit will solve the problem. Instead, establish exactly what you signed and whether there is a proper contractual or legal basis for challenging the agreement or negotiating an exit. Meridian Legal Services can review:

  • The Grenke hire or lease agreement
  • Supplier quotations and order forms
  • What was represented before signing
  • The equipment actually supplied
  • Delivery and acceptance documentation
  • Problems with the equipment or supplier
  • Cancellation attempts
  • Settlement or termination figures
  • Debt recovery or legal correspondence
